Friday's Updatge

Dear Pilgrims,

Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 14 - 18, 5:30 -8:00 p.m. We are in need of a number of folks to help with this important ministry. A sign-up sheet will be in Sunday's bulletin.

Each week we collect food for the Salvation Army in the box and shopping cart on your left in the front entry. This Sunday we are emphasizing breakfast foods. If you can help, your thoughtfulness would be much appreciated.

This Sunday my message is titled, "You Can Count On It," with Philippians 2: 25 - 30 as our Scripture reading.

Hospitalized today is Juliabel Strauch.

We are one of the drop sites for Shoes for Kids. We'll be receiving new shoes for children in our county over the next month. You can make a big difference in the life of a child by donating a new pair of shoes.

The memorial service for Susan Wright's mother, Katherine Bellinger is Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Pilgrim. You are welcome to attend and give thanks for Katherine's life.

The golf tournament for our capital campaign is July 20, Sunday, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Lots of prizes and gifts will be handed out, and proceeds will benefit our campaign.

Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. is our monthly prayer time at Pilgrim. All are invited to attend. A prayer request sheet will be in Sunday's bulletin for you to submit a request(s).



Newsletter assembly has been moved to Friday the 27th at 9:30 am. If you can help your time and energy would be much appreciated.

Tuesday's update

Dear Pilgrim Family,

If you would like to help those in need, we are making sandwiches Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the community center that will be delivered to the Bread of Life Mission. About an hour is required of your time.

A group meets monthly to make prayer shawls. The next gathering is Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Sandhill Gardens.

Hospitalized today are Jane Olbur and Juliabel Strauch.

We are having a great June at Pilgrim with various ministries and programs to meet the needs of our congregation and reach out to the community. Check our website at pilgrimonline.org for opportunities and a weekly schedule.
