Friday's Update

Dear Pilgrims,

This Sunday my message is titled, "The Jesus Style," with Philippians 2: 1 - 11 as our Scripture reading. The summer choir will be singing at 11:00 a.m. with some new faces added.

The meeting for those interested in a young adult group will be held in the youth room at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday. Child care will be provided.

Throughout the summer we have various activities, ministries and opportunities for service. Please consult our website, pilgrimonline.org for the latest information. Todd and Sherri Vana are updating and revising our website on a regular basis, and are putting a creative hand to the pages, so I encourage you to check the website frequently. We are experimenting with putting the monthly newsletter on the website, which would give you immediate and continual access to "Pilgrim's Progress."

If you would serve as an usher or greeter this summer, an interest sheet is in Sunday's bulletin for you to complete and return.

Please pray for Susan and Jim Wright in the passing of Susan's mother this week. A memorial service will be planned, and we'll inform you as to the date.

Have a great day; see you Sunday.

In His Grace,

Pastor Matthew Neumann

Tuesday's Update

Dear Pilgrims,

We're off to a good start with our 11:00 a.m. summer choir and invite anyone who would like to sing at this service to meet for practice Tuesday evening at 6:45 p.m.

The Wednesday evening program for children, Summer Son, meets from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. each week. All children are welcome to sing, learn Bible stories and have a great time!!

This Sunday, 10:15 a.m. all young adults are invited to attend a gathering to investigate starting a young adult group. Please meet in the youth room; child care will be provided.

The golf tournament for our building fund will be July 20. More information will be in Sunday's bulletin.

Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 14 - 18.

Summer camp at church will be underway next week. If you are interested, phone the church at 629-2633.

We still have a few spots left for the summer mission trip to New York , August 5 - 11. A group will be going to the YoungLives camp to take of babies while the single mothers (many of whom are teens) will be hearing about the Lord and learning more about parenting. If you have questions, call us at office.

Continue praying for Susan Wright's mother, Kathryn, who is under Hospice care.

Have a wonderful day.

In His Grace,

Pastor Matthew Neumann
