VBS Beach Party

The Beach Party is over and was a big hit with the children. Thank you to all the volunteers who made this possible....kudos to Jill and Angie the organizers extraordinaire.

Friday July 18th Update

What a fantastic week it has been at Pilgrim. VBS has transformed the Church into a beech scene. The Christian Education Ministry has gone beyond this year. The attendance has increased every day, and the children are learning surfing thru the Beatitudes. If you haven't been to church this week, make a special trip and see what has been done.

The scripture this week is -------------- and the message is ----------. The mission team going to Mississippi will be commissioned at both services. If you want to wish them off they will be leaving at 3am on Sunday the 27th.

The first annual golf tournament is this Sunday AFTER Church, if you have not signed up there is still time call the Church office or just show up. Raffle tickets will be available after each service in the back of the Sanctuary: $1.00 for 1 ticket, $5.00 for 6 tickets and $10.00 for 12 tickets. We have some fantastic gifts. All proceeds from this tournament will go to the capital fund drive.

Sunday the 27th is the last day for “Shoes for Kids”.

VBS first night...

WOW....is all I have to say. Jill and Angie did a wonderful job in putting this whole VBS (Vacation Bible School) together. Trying to bring children into Christ our Lord. Our program turned out to be a great success for day 1. We had 32 pre-registered children and ended up with over a 100 children aging from 3 to 6th grade. I am their dedicated photographer for the week. I took 125 pictures tonight and numerous video clips. This is my favorite video tonight - all the children had different time schedules with Mr. Pierre in learning 2 songs and at the end of the night - they all sang this song. Don't forget the pause the music at the bottom of the page in order to hear the video.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

Joyful Noise is having there 1st Annual Golfing "Fore" the Children is this Sunday July 20th at 1:30pm at Bobcat Trail Gof Club. It's not too late to sign up. Call 941-629-4821

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL THIS WEEK

This week is the week you've been waiting for it's time for Vacation Bible School. VBS goes from July 14th thru July 18th 5:30pm to 8:00pm with a Pot Luck Dinner on Friday Night.
